Everything You Need to Know
đ THE CELEBRATION
Q: When and where is the wedding taking place?
A: Our wedding will be held at Quinta do Torneiro in Oeiras, Portugal, on Wednesday, June 24th, 2025. The ceremony and reception will both take place at the venue, eliminating the need to travel between locations.
Q: Whatâs the dress code?
A: Dressy and elegant, but comfortable! Think summer formal, light fabrics, flowy dresses, linen suits, and shoes you can dance in. Portugal can be warm, so lighter tones and breathable materials are perfect.
Q: Whatâs the weather like in Portugal at that time of year?
A: Expect warm, sunny days and pleasant evenings. We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light shawl or jacket for the evening breeze.
What is the Dinner Menu?
FIRST COURSE (please select one) â Puff pastry with ricotta cheese and nuts served with arugula salad (vegetarian) OR Codfish with corn bread in a bed of spinaches served with roasted potatoes and olive oil.
SECOND COURSE (please select one) - Beef with wine cooked at low temperature, cherry tomatoes, celery, red onion and rice âcarquejaâ OR Spinach and ricotta ravioli with basil cream sauce (vegetarian).

Q: Do I need a visa to travel to Portugal?
A: If youâre coming from the U.S., U.K., or another EU country, no visa is required for short stays. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least six months after your trip.
Q: Where should I stay?
A: We recommend staying in Cascais, Oeiras, or central Lisbon! All are lovely and within easy reach of the venue.
Q: Whatâs the local currency and language?
A: The local currency is the Euro (âŹ) and the language is Portuguese, though English is widely spoken in hotels, restaurants, and tourist areas.
