Everything You Need to Know

💒 THE CELEBRATION

Q: When and where is the wedding taking place?

A: Our wedding will be held at Quinta do Torneiro in Oeiras, Portugal, on Wednesday, June 24th, 2025. The ceremony and reception will both take place at the venue, eliminating the need to travel between locations.

Q: What’s the dress code?

A: Dressy and elegant, but comfortable! Think summer formal, light fabrics, flowy dresses, linen suits, and shoes you can dance in. Portugal can be warm, so lighter tones and breathable materials are perfect.

Q: What’s the weather like in Portugal at that time of year?

A: Expect warm, sunny days and pleasant evenings. We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light shawl or jacket for the evening breeze.

What is the Dinner Menu?

FIRST COURSE (please select one) – Puff pastry with ricotta cheese and nuts served with arugula salad (vegetarian) OR Codfish with corn bread in a bed of spinaches served with roasted potatoes and olive oil. SECOND COURSE (please select one) - Beef with wine cooked at low temperature, cherry tomatoes, celery, red onion and rice “carqueja” OR Spinach and ricotta ravioli with basil cream sauce (vegetarian). DESSERT - Emulsion of black chocolate and passion fruit.

✈ TRAVEL & STAY

Q: What’s the best airport to fly into?

A: The closest airport is Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS), about 20–25 minutes from Oeiras and 35 minutes from Cascais.

Q: How do I get to the venue?

A: Taxis, Ubers, and Bolt rides are readily available from Lisbon or Cascais.

Q: Do I need a visa to travel to Portugal?

A: If you’re coming from the U.S., U.K., or another EU country, no visa is required for short stays. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least six months after your trip.

Q: Where should I stay?

A: We recommend staying in Cascais, Oeiras, or central Lisbon! All are lovely and within easy reach of the venue.

Q: What’s the local currency and language?

A: The local currency is the Euro (€) and the language is Portuguese, though English is widely spoken in hotels, restaurants, and tourist areas.

đŸ–ïž EVENTS & CELEBRATIONS

Q: Are there events besides the wedding day?

A: Yes! We’ll be hosting a Bridal Shower for the ladies in Cascais, and details will be shared with the invitees before the wedding.

Q: What should I pack?

A: Think Mediterranean summer, light clothing, swimsuits, comfortable shoes for exploring, and something dressy for the wedding festivities. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat!

Q: Can we explore while we’re there?

A: Absolutely! Portugal is stunning. Spend a day wandering Cascais’ seaside, explore Lisbon’s historic neighborhoods, or take a day trip to Sintra’s fairytale palaces. We’ll share a few of our favorite recommendations under “Things to Do.”

💌 RSVP & GIFTS

Q: How do I RSVP?

A: Please RSVP by March 24, 2026 through our wedding website under the “RSVP” section, the QR code on the physical invitation, or message us personally, we will send you the link.

Q: Where are you registered?

A: Your presence in Portugal means the world to us, truly! But if you’d like to give a gift, we’ve created a registry which can be found in the "registry" section on the website.
